One of the biggest Eurovision mysteries of the past few years has been solved! The members of Subwoolfer, who represented Norway in Eurovision 2022 with “Give That Wolf A Banana” have revealed the faces behind the yellow wolf masks!
Who are you?
As the previous winner of Melodi Grand Prix, Subwoolfer were invited to perform as the interval act during the Norwegian national final. They performed two songs: “Give That Wolf A Banana” and a new song, “Worst Kept Secret.”
The members already teased the potential reveal on social media, posting on Instagram saying:
“Now this is not the end. It is not even the beginning of the end. But it is, perhaps, the end of the beginning.”
During their performance, they took off their gloves, and then finally, their masks. So at last, we can finally answer the question: who are Subwoolfer?
Ben Adams (Keith) and Gaute Ormåsen (Jim)!
Speculations and unanswered questions
The names Ben Adams and Gaute Ormåsen shouldn’t be unfamiliar to those who have been following the speculations surrounding the identities of Subwoolfer. Both singers were hinted at frequently as the one hiding behind the yellow masks, but now the confirmation is here!
Ben Adams is a British singer who was part of the British-Norwegian boy band A1.
Gaute Ormåsen is a Norwegian singer who took part in Melodi Grand Prix in 2010 and 2013.

We have a lot of answers now, but not all of them! Subwoolfer are always joined on stage by DJ Astronaut, who is hidden behind the astronaut suit. The identity of DJ Astronaut is not yet revealed, though rumours have speculate surrounding their identity: for instance, TIX, who represented Norway in 2021, is a popular contender for the person behind the suit. There was even a video released of him taking off the astronaut mask.
In any case, we have more answers than we ever did before!
