Our first national final is approaching soon, as the Czechia will choose their representative on 4 December. Now, we can find out which artists are in the running to represent the country at Eurovision in 2024!
The particpants
The following artists have been selected to perform their song in the national final. The songs will not be revealed until the show itself, meaning that we only have the names of the artists so far:
- Aiko
- Elly
- Gianna Lei
- Lenny
- MYDY
- Tom Sean
- Tomas Robin
All these artists will be in the national final on December 4th, at 20:15! International fans will be able to watch the show on the official Eurovision Song Contest YouTube channel.
Czechia in the Eurovision Song Contest 2023
Czechia’s Vesna won the ESCZ 2023 national final with their song “My Sister’s Crown”, and went on to represent their country in Liverpool at Eurovision this year. They qualified for the Grand Final and ended in 10th place with 129 points!

Unbelievable fact about LENNY – her mother, Lenka Filipova, was selected to represent Switzerland in 1988 at Eurovision. However, she eventually wasn’t allowed to leave Czechoslovakia, so a back-up artist – Celine Dion – was chosen to sing the same song that eventually won Eurovision 1988 and gave Celine her world-wide fame. :’) Hope her daughter will make it to ESC now <3
