Swedish broadcaster SVT have revealed the running order for the heats of Melodifestivalen 2024 – Sweden’s national final for the Eurovision Song Contest. Adam Woods will open the first heat on February 3rd, with Medina set to end the final fifth heat on March 2nd.
In a change to previous years, 30 artists will compete across five heats. Before, 28 artists would compete across four heats before a semi-final ‘second chance’ round. Each heat will be formed of six songs, with two going through to the Grand Final in Stockholm’s Friends Arena. A further two songs will be selected in a new programme shortly after the fifth heat.
