Today, RTL Luxembourg released the songs of the eight artists participating in the very first Luxembourg Song Contest. Find out more about them – and listen – below!
Angy & Rafa Ela – “Drop”
The first song to be released is “Drop”, a dramatic ballad between Angy and Rafa Ela. Music and lyrics by Angy Sciacqua, Martin Kleveland and Siv Marit Egseth.
CHAiLD – “Hold On”
Singer and songwriter CHAiLD will be performing “Hold On”! The powerful ballad is a Swedish production by Jimmy Jansson, Thomas G:son and Peter Boström.
EDSUN – “Finally Alive”
EDSUN will participate in the Luxembourg Song Contest with the uplifting disco track “Finally Alive”, written by Edson Pires Domingos (EDSUN), Sergio Manique and Jana Bahrich.
Joel Marques – “Believer”
“Believer” by Joel Marques is an empowering power ballad, with music and lyrics by Marvin Dupré, Clément Mouillard and Brice Lebel.
Krick – “Drowning in the Rain”
Nurse-singer Krick will perform “Drowning in the Rain”, a deeply emotional ballad. This song is written by Elsa Søllesvik, Andreas Stone Johansson and Tom Oehler.
Naomi Ayé – “Paumée sur terre”
The youngest finalist, Naomi Ayé, will be bringing a captivating ballad in French, “Paumée sur terre”, written and produced by Manon Romiti, Silvio Lisbonne and Eddy Pradelles.
One Last Time – “Devil in the Detail”
Alternative rock-pop band One Last Time will be performing an epic rock song, “Devil in the Detail”. Music and lyrics are by Jonas Holteberg Jensen, Albin Fredy Ljungqvist and Bruce R. F. Smith.
TALI – “Fighter”
Finally, TALI will perform “Fighter”, with lyrics both in French and English. It is the result of an international collaboration between Dardust, Manon Romiti, Ana Zimmer and Silvio Lisbonne.

These eight songs will compete in the live final of the Luxembourg Song Contest, to be held on 27 January in the Rockhal in Esch-sur-Alzette. The winner will be the first artist to represent Luxembourg in the Eurovision Song Contest since 1993.
