Malta have chosen their entrant for the Eurovision Song Contest 2024! Sarah Bonnici won Malta Eurovision Song Contest with “Loop” and will now go to Malmö in May.
Notably, this year at Malta Eurovision Song Contest, the songs were presented in the form of a live-on-tape recording. At the live show on Saturday evening, all the contestants were present backstage, but thus did not perform live. The guest performers, Yulan (Junior Eurovision 2023) and The Busker, also performed their songs live-on-tape. Another new development is that trophies were awarded not only to the winner, but also to the acts placing second and third, the best music video, and the best newcomer. Greta Tude was chosen as having the best video, and Lisa Gauci as the best newcomer.
