The 20-year old singer was chosen via the national selection HaKokhav HaBa
On February 6th, the Israeli national final took place. Four singers had gone through to the final and competed for the chance to represent the country at Eurovision in Malmö. One was eliminated, and the rest passed on to the superfinal. The winner was Eden Golan, who performed a cover version of Aerosmith’s “I Don’t Want to Miss a Thing”. The song that Golan will be singing in Malmö will be chosen by a committee from submission received from songwriters. Songwriters can submit their songs until February 11th, and the song will be announced in March.
