The first six finalists of this year’s edition of Festival da Canção have been selected.
Lisbon calling! The first ten songs of this year’s Festival da Canção have performed and six have selected to go through the Final on the 9th of March.
The five most voted songs by the jury (50%) and the televote (50%) were:
Nena – Teorias da Conspiração
Perpétua – Bem Longe Daqui
Rita Rocha – Pontos Finais
João Borsch – …Pelas Costuras
Iolanda – Grito
The remaining five songs then went through a televote only voting round and Noble with ‘Memory’ was saved by the public.
The artists and songs that left the competition were:
- Mela – Água
- Mila Dores – Afia a Língua
- Left – Volto a Ti
- Bispo – Casa Portuguesa
Festival da Canção continues next Saturday, 2nd of March with the second semi-final, where six more songs will be selected to compete in the Grand Final on the 9th of March.
