ERT has officially presented this year’s Greek entry for the Eurovision Song Contest.
After months of waiting since Marina Satti was announced by Greek broadcaster ERT as the country’s representative for this year’s Eurovision Song Contest back in October of last year, ‘Zari’ was finally unveiled as Greece’s entry this Thursday, 7th of March.
Marina is a Greek singer, songwriter and music producer. Her music combines both traditional and modern sounds from her roots, such as Greek, Arabic and Balkan. In May of 2022 Marina released her debut album ‘Yenna’ which saw great commercial and critical reception. In 2023, Marina’s ‘Tucutum’ became a viral hit in the Balkans.
This year will mark 50 years since Greece’s first appearance in the Eurovision Song Contest. Greece is set to perform in the first half of the second semi-final on the 9th of May in Malmö.
