The first 8 participants of next year’s Eesti Laul 2025 – the Estonian national selection for Eurovision – have just been revealed tonight. The announcement was made by Jüri Pootsmann, who represented Estonia in 2016.

The first 8 finalists of Eesti Laul 2025 were announced on entertainment/news show Ringvaade are :
- Räpina Jack ft. Kaisa Lang – “Tule” (Kill Kaare, Kaisa Ling)
- Tuuli Rand – “Rem” (Tuuli Rand, Cecilia Martina Mägi, Sander Sadam)
- ANT – “Tomorrow Never Comes” (Ant Nurhan, Kim Wennerström, Merili Käsper)
- FELIN – “Solo Anthem” (Paul Rey, Gevin Niglas, Johanna Ekholm, Elin Blom Etoall)
- Anna Sahlene – “Love Me Low” (David Lindgren Zahcarias, Bobby Ljunggren, Michaela Stridbeck, Anna Sahlin, Dagmar Oja, Kaire Vilgats)
- Stereo Terror – “Prty Til The End of the World” (Lauri Hämäläinen, Heigo Anto)
- An-Marlen – “Külm” (Frederik Mustonen, Ingel Marlen Mikk, Maria Vainumägi)
- ELYSA – “The Last To Know” (Simon Peyron, Angelino Markenhorn, Julie Aagaard, Elisa Kolk)
The remaining set of finalists will be announced tomorrow by Tanja Mihhailova-Saar, in the same show. These will make up 15 out of 16 finalists, with the final act selected by the public and to be revealed in January.
These 16 acts will take part in a single show, on February 15th, departing from a format that has used semi-finals since 2010. The show will take place over two rounds of voting : a first one to select 3 super-finalists, which will combine the public vote and an international jury ; and a televote-only superfinal to choose the winner among these 3.
The songs themselves will be revealed on December 6th.
