Festivali i Këngës 63 set for December 19 to 22

RTSH has confirmed the dates for Festivali i Këngës 63. The four-night festival will commence on December 19 and conclude on December 22, with the winner becoming the next representative for Albania at the Eurovision Song Contest 2025.

With the merry season of FiKmas almost upon us, RTSH has revealed more details on its upcoming national selection, Festivali i Këngës 63. Albanian broadcaster RTSH will host a four-day festival of music and entertainment across December 19, 20, 21 and 22. The grand final will take place in the Palace of Congresses in Tirana. During night three’s ‘Night of Nostalgia’, artists will perform songs to celebrate the history of FiK. Although little is known about how the winner will be chosen, RTSH’s press release revealed the competing songs are to be performed for the public and jury. Suggesting that the festival will return to its traditional roots. The following acts are set to perform:

  • Alis – ‘Mjegull’
  • Ardit Çuni – ‘Amane’
  • Devis Xherahu – ‘Ka momente’
  • Djemtë e detit – ‘Larg’
  • Elvana Gjata – ‘Karnaval’
  • Endrik Beba – ‘Ishe ti’
  • Epos – ‘Kurajo dhe Zjarr’
  • Erma Mici – ‘Mbaje’
  • Frensi Revania – ‘Rreziko’
  • Gjergj Kaçinari – ‘Larg jetës pa ty’
  • Gresa Gjocera – ‘E vërteta’
  • Jet – ‘Gjallë’
  • Kejsi Jazhi – ‘Kur bota hesht’
  • Klea Dina – ‘Dashuri ndiej’
  • Kleana Susaj – ‘Ta dija’
  • Laorjan Ejlli & Adelina Correj – ‘A thu’
  • Lorenc Hasrama – ‘Frymë’
  • Luna Çausholli – ‘Qiell apo ferr’
  • Mal Retkoceri – ‘Antihero’

Albania in the Eurovision Song Contest

Since their debut at the Eurovision Song Contest 2004 in Istanbul, Turkey, Albania has participated at the contest a total of 20 times. Their highest placement was in 2012 when Rona Nishliu placed fifth in the Grand Final with her song ‘Suus’.

In Malmö earlier this year, BESA represented Albania with her entry, ‘TITAN’. During the second Semi-Final, Albania placed 15th with 14 televote points.
