Lithuania’s Eurovision 2025 selection show, Eurovizija.LT, has officially begun with the airing of its first Semi-Final. In this opening round, nine acts competed for just two coveted spots in the Grand Final, scheduled for February 15 at the Žalgiris Arena in Kaunas. The combined scores of the professional jury and public televote determined tonight’s qualifiers.
Anyanya and Justė Baradulinaitė advance in the competition
Hosted by Gabrielė Martirosian and Nombeko Augustė Khotseng and Rimvydas Černiauskas, the rebranded Lithuanian selection format has already showcased its ability to deliver standout performances. Tonight, Anyanya and Justė Baradulinaitė emerged as the top two performers, securing their places in the Grand Final.
Anyanya was chosen by the jury and audience with their performance of “Running Out of Time,” alongside Justė Baradulinaitė with their entry, “Tired.” The two acts have advanced to the Grand Final, leaving the other seven behind.
Eurovizija.LT 2025 Format and Schedule
The revamped Eurovizija.LT selection will feature five pre-recorded Semi-Finals, airing weekly until February 8, followed by a live Grand Final on February 15. Each Semi-Final sees nine acts competing for two spots in the final, decided through a 50/50 combination of jury and public vote.
In the Grand Final, the top three entries will proceed to a Super-Final, where the winner will be determined exclusively through public televoting.
