Tonight, the 75th Festival della Canzone Italiana di Sanremo will continue at the Ariston Theatre, with the second of five consecutive nights of Italian music.

Who?
Tonight, only half of the entries from the “Campioni” category will perform, which will also leave more time for interval acts. They will also be joined by the four acts of the “Nuove proposte” (“New proposals”) category, who will open the show with two duels. The winners of each duel will go to the final tomorrow, which will crown the champion of this category, thus closing the cycle opened by Sanremo Giovani.

Among these, four entries were part of yesterday’s Top Five, with only Bruno Sas missing. He will perform tomorrow.
The show will be hosted by the new Sanremo artistic director Carlo Conti, who held the role between 2015 and 2017, replacing Amadeus, who had directed Sanremo since 2020. He will co-host the evening with Bianca Balti, Cristiano Malgioglio and Nino Frassica.
Along with co-hosts, CONTI will also welcome guests on stage: Damiano Davi, lead singer of Måneskin who now pursues a solo career, as well as casts from recent movies or RAI TV series, and Carolina Kostner, an Italian figure skater, who will lead an interval act to promote the next Winter Olympics, which will be held next year in Northern Italy, mainly in Milan and Cortina d’Ampezzo.
Format
For the second night, the votes will be open to the public, and will be combined with votes from the Radio jury (which is separate from yesterday’s jury, which represented the written and web press as well as televisions). Once again, only a top 5 will be revealed at the end of the night.
