Tonight, after three nights of Sanremo, the festival takes a little break with its cover night, while elsewhere in Europe, Germany begins its new selection show, Chefsache ESC 2025. And on the same evening, Poland will select its Eurovision entry.

Seven artists will qualify for the semi-finals, chosen by a jury alone. The jury will be composed of :

- Elton (comedian, TV host)
- Max Mutzke (Germany 2004)
🇮🇹 Italy – Festival di Sanremo 2025 – Cover/duet night (fourth night)

20:40 CET, until 01:30 CET approximatively

- Physically, at the Ariston Theatre, in Sanremo
Who?
Tonight, all the acts will perform covers of Italian or international songs, in duet with another artist each. For the first time, they will be able to perform not only with artists outside the festival, but also with one of their fellow competitors, and some have selected to do so.

The show will be hosted by the new Sanremo artistic director Carlo Conti, who held the role between 2015 and 2017, replacing Amadeus, who had directed Sanremo since 2020. He will co-host the evening with Mahmood (Italy 2019 and 2022) and Geppi Cucciari.
Format
The cover night is now a separate competition, which will have no bearing on the final results. It is like a mini-Sanremo, which will use the same split used in the Nuove Proposte or the Sanremo super-final:
- 33% of the votes coming from the TV, web and press jury
- 33% of the votes coming from the radio jury
- 34% of the votes coming from the televote
