Justyna Steczkowska to Represent Poland at Eurovision 2025 with “Gaja”

Poland has selected its representative for the upcoming Eurovision Song Contest 2025. During the nationally televised special Wielki finał polskich kwalifikacji, Justyna Steczkowska emerged victorious with her song “Gaja.” Steczkowska, who previously represented Poland in 1995, earned 39.32% of the public vote, securing first place among eleven competing acts.

The Show

Hosted at TVP’s headquarters in Warsaw by Aleksandra Budka, Artur Orzech, Grzegorz Dobek, and former Eurovision participant Michał Szpak, the show was broadcast live on TVP2, TVP Polonia, and TVP Wilno, as well as online. The winner was determined exclusively by audience votes submitted via SMS. Guest performances included a set by Baby Lasagna (Croatia’s Eurovision 2024 entrant) and musical numbers from co-host Michał Szpak.

Looking Ahead

By winning the national final, Steczkowska now takes on the task of representing Poland at the Eurovision Song Contest 2025. “Gaja,” written by Dominic Buczkowski-Wojtaszek, Emilian Waluchowski, Steczkowska herself, and Patryk Kumór, will be the country’s official entry. Steczkowska brings experience to the stage, having last performed for Poland in Eurovision 1995.
