Eurovision is here! Delegations have been arriving in Basel in the last few days and rehearsals started on May 3. After closing the first rehearsals to the press in 2022, the EBU has now done away with TikTok videoclips. They will instead release sets of three photographs a day after each rehearsal, as well as description of the proceedings on their official channels. As such, today, we cover yesterday’s rehearsals, and finish with Portugal, seventh and last rehearsal of the day, with “Deslocado”.

What happened on stage?

- Napa have changed their outfit to long-sleeved jackets or shirts, with different colours. The singer, Guilherme, wears a cream/white jackey with some light motif on it.
- The performance is allegedly relatively unchanged from Festival da Canção
- The LED back screen will show clouds and “animated skyscapes” changing colour, with the LED frame of the B-stage alternating colours in the same way – the whole atmosphere has been described as “dreamlike”
