Eurovision is here! All the delegations are in Basel and most of the semi-finalists have completed their two rehearsals. The automatic qualifiers, however, have not. Their first rehearsals came yesterday, and we will cover them today, now that we have the pictures from these rehearsals. We finish with Spain, the last rehearsal of the day, with “Esa Diva”.

What happened on stage?

- Melody is wearing a “black corseted bodice with pointy bits on the shoulders and the hips”, with black tigh boots and a black fedora.
- She is accompanied by five dancers: two female and three male.
- The performance opens with a shot of Melody’s silhouette against a white background, then it evolves into three different “acts”, with each acts having a distinct colour theme and distinct choreographies
- The first act is purple
- The second act is red
- The third and final act is white
- The live blogger from Eurovision, Heidi, also teases a great dancing moment in the final ten seconds, without revealing anything – we will tell you once we see it on Monday.
