Abor & Tynna release English edit of “Baller”

The German entry for Eurovision 2025, “Baller”, has now been released in a new, English version, by Abor and Tynna. Is “Baller-summer” getting closer?

The new edit was dropped on all platforms at midnight today, Friday June 6th. You can find it below on Youtube and on Spotify, as well as on all other platforms with this link. Although this version keeps the “Baller” title, the actual lyrics of “Ba-ba-ba…-baller” are replaced by “I’m li-li-li-li-li-li-li-li-lighting up the night”.

This is a new edit of the song, after other remixes were already published by the duo, including an acoustic version and a nowifi Remix.

“Baller” was selected by the new German national selection, ESC Chefsache 2025, to represent Germany at Eurovision 2025 in Basel. It was one track from Bittersüß, the debut album of Abor & Tynna, an Austrian electropop duo of siblings.

Going straight to the final thanks to the Big Five rule, Abor & Tynna ended up 15th out of 26 in the Grand Final, with a balanced score of 74 televote points (11th) and 77 jury points (13th). Despite this moderate result, the song itself has been relatively successful in charts over Europe, with strong positions in Germany and Austria, but also very good numbers in Lithuania, Latvia, Switzerland, Ukraine or Poland. Some fans have hopes of a “Baller-summer” in which the song could find its spot in summer parties and playlists: perhaps an English edit will help?
