Cyprus has been the first country to reveal their artist back in 2017 & 2025. It appears that 2026 will be no different. The Cypriot broadcaster RIK announced on November 6th that Antigoni would represent the nation in Vienna for the 70th edition of the Eurovision Song Contest !

Antigoni Buxton, aka Antigoni, is a 30 years old London born and raised singer-songwriter. The British-Cypriot artist became especially popular after appearing on Love Island UK back in 2022. She focused on her music after that, becoming one of the most wanted singer to represent Cyprus at Eurovision, by many fans.
She was selected internally by RIK, with her song being released at a later date.

Last year, Theo Evan represented Cyprus with the song “Shh”. Unfortunately, the nation came 11th in the first semi final, missing the final by 3 points over San Marino.
