Tonight: ๐Ÿ‡ฑ๐Ÿ‡บ Luxembourg chooses, ๐Ÿ‡ง๐Ÿ‡ฌ๐Ÿ‡ฑ๐Ÿ‡น Bulgaria and Lithuania start looking

Only one final this Saturday, compared to last week, as Luxembourg selects its entry for Vienna, but other countries will broadcast the first steps of their selection.

Eight songs, chosen after the auditions, will compete, with the running order confirmed later today:

  • Andrew the Martian – “I’m The Martian”
  • Daryss – “Melusina”
  • Eva Marija – “Mother Nature”
  • Hugo One – “Born Again”
  • Irem – “Bad Decisions (Hush Hush)”
  • Luzac – “Prison Dorée”
  • ShiroKuro – “Eye To Eye”
  • Steve Castile – “Sweet Tooth”

Guest acts will include three Eurovision 2025 alumni: Laura Thorn (Luxembourg), VÆB (Iceland) and JJ (Austria) who won the contest last year. Sandra Kim, Belgium’s only Eurovision winner, back in 1986, will also perform during the show.

The evening will be hosted by the now usual duo of Raoul Roos and Loïc Juchem, alongside Hana Sofia Lopes, a Luxembourgish actress known for films and series in Luxembourg, Germany and Portugal.

The vote will be split between a jury of eight members (50%) and online voting open to fans in Luxembourg and abroad (50%), with two rounds of voting:

  • One window open during the performances, from the first one to the last one
  • A second one for a “superfinal” second round with the top 3 entries of the first round, for a window of about 20 minutes

The winner will be chosen after the second round.

The heats are, as usual, pre-recorded.

Eight songs will compete, in the following running order:

  3. Elizabeth Olshey – “Between
  4. Noy – “Stand Up
  5. Rug!le – “Ikona Žemaitė
  6. Aistė Pilvelytė – “Tarp žvaigždžių tylos
  7. Thomas G – “One Night Lover
  8. The Ditties – “Mambo

The vote will be split between a jury (50%) and public voting(50%).

The two highest-ranked entry will directly qualify to the final, with the song ranked third joining a wildcard round for later.

15 artists will perform one of their previously released song, with no running order announced as of yet:

  • Mona
  • Preyah

The show will be hosted by Georgi Lyubenov and Boryana Gramatikova.

The vote will be split between a jury of five members, that will give a score of 1 to 5 points to each artist, and a public vote that will award 15 points to its favourite, 14 to its runner-up… etc. all the way to 1 point for the artist coming last.

Seven artists will qualify to the artists’ final next week, where the representative for Bulgaria will finally be selected. The song selection will then take place in a third show on 28 February.
