This week, the Belgian national broadcaster, RTBF confirmed that ESSYLA will represent the nation at the Eurovision Song Contest 2026 taking place in Vienna, Austria this May.
ESSYLA to represent Belgium on the Eurovision 2026 stage
For the 70th Anniversary of the Eurovision Song Contest, Belgium will be represented by ESSYLA. The young singer-songwriter came to fame during the ninth season of reality singing show, The Voice Belgique. ESSYLA, real name Alice Van Eesbeeck, has already achieved chart success in Belgium and has released her debut EP I’ll Be Okay.
‘Dancing On The Ice’ is a collaborate work, written and composed by ESSYLA alongside Nicolas d’Avell, Emil Stengele and Barbara Petitjean.
