Following another competitive edition of Germany’s Eurovision 2026 national selection, it is Sarah Engels that wins Das Deutsche Finale 2026 and will represent the Central European nation with ‘FIre’ in Vienna, Austria this May.
Sarah Engels to represent Germany at Eurovision 2026
Tonight, at the Studio Berlin in Adlershof,, Germany’s Eurovision 2026 selection took place. In the final nine acts took part. During the show, hosted by Barbara Schöneberger and Hazel Brugger the show saw two rounds of voting to determine the overall winner. In round 1 the 20 member international jury selected three Super-Finalists from the 9 acts. The results are as follows:
Super-Finalists
- Molly Sue – ‘Optimist (Ha Ha Ha)’
- Wavvyboi – ‘Black Glitter’
- Sarah Engels – ‘Fire’
In the Super-Final only the televote had the deciding say. Sarah Engels will represent Germany in Vienna. Austria this May with, ‘FIre’
