Five more songs have advanced to the final of Festival da Canção 2026 following the first semi-final held Feb. 28.
The show, organized by Rádio e Televisão de Portugal, featured eight entries competing for five places in the March 7 final. The winner of the national final will represent Portugal at the Eurovision Song Contest 2026 in Vienna, Austria.
5 Acts Qualify to March 7 Final
Four finalists were selected through a combined vote of a jury panel and public televoting. A fifth entry qualified in a second round determined solely by public vote.
The first four qualifiers were:
- Silvana Peres with “Não tem fim”
- Sandrino with “Disposto a tudo”
- Bandidos do Cante with “Rosa”
- João Ribeiro with “Canção do quere”
The second Final is scheduled for March 7. One song will be chosen to represent Portugal at the Eurovision Song Contest 2026 in Vienna, Austria.
