Today (11th March 2026), the broadcaster responsible for the Georgian participation for the Eurovision Song Contest – GPB have released their song “On Replay” on behalf of their chosen act Bzikebi. The contest is due to take place in Vienna, Austria.
🇬🇪 Hoping to create a buzz!
As you can hear, Georgia are hoping that an uptempo stinger of a song is enough to grab the attention of juries and voters at home with people wanting to stream it literally “on replay”! The song is composed by Giga Kukhianidze and written by Lizi Japaridze.
Furthermore GPB and Bzikebi will be hoping it’s enough for to take the caucus nation flying into the final on Saturday 16th May, a destination they have only been to twice in ten years with Nika Kocharov and Young Georgian Lolitaz’ “Midnight Gold” all the way back in 2016 and most recently in 2024 thanks to Nutsa Buzaladze with her song “Firefighter”.
Back in 2008, the trio who were just 10-years of age, set the Caucasus nation on its record-breaking path of JESC domination. Earning the first of Georgia’s four victories with, ‘BZZZ’. Last December, the group returned to the JESC stage in Tbilisi to perform in the interval for the host nation with new single, “We Don’t Sleep”.
