Eurovision is back! Delegations have landed/arrived in Vienna these last few days and rehearsals started yesterday. Just like last year, for the first rehearsal, the EBU releases information on the day of each reharsal, with a sets of three photographs publishe the day after. As such, today, we cover yesterday’s rehearsals, from the first half of the first semi-final (automatic qualifiers excluded). Second in the running order is Felicia, representing Sweden with “My System”.

What happened on stage?

- In true Swedish tradition, most of what we saw in Melodifestivalen has been kept for Eurovision itself, including the lasers, the mask change and the giant Felicia escaping her screen
- One novel element however, teased by Felicia on Instagram but described by the official Reddit account, is that Felicia will fight the lasers with her bare hands during the second chorus, until she “tames them into doing her bidding”, making them frame her poses.
- Felicia’s outfit will also be new, with a mix of dark and red, including bright red gloves.
