Eurovision is back! Delegations have landed/arrived in Vienna these last few days and rehearsals started last Saturday. Just like last year, for the first rehearsal, the EBU releases information on the day of each reharsal, with a sets of three photographs publishe the day after. As such, today, we cover yesterday’s rehearsals, from the second half of the first semi-final (automatic qualifiers excluded). #12 in the show is Lithuania with “Sólo Quiero Más”

What happened on stage?

- Lion Ceccah once again uses two different outfits: a large hooded cloak, and then a “gothically tailored suit”
- The atmosphere is mainly dramatic, but the official description considers that it has its “moment of comedy”, with high camp theatrics after the halfway point of the song
- The dramatic aspects come back with the chorus, which uses English subtitles to “convey his moment of self-awareness”
- The performances then concludes in black and white, with a new “outfit reveal” which has not been described.
- It could be the collapse of the standing hooded cape, as in EUROVIZIJA.LT, but Lion Ceccah has been hinting at new elements for his Eurovision staging, so we may not know until the first press rehearsal on 11 May
