Eurovision is back! Delegations have landed/arrived in Vienna these last few days and rehearsals started last weekend. Just like last year, for the first rehearsal, the EBU releases information on the day of each reharsal, with a sets of three photographs publishe the day after. As such, today, we cover yesterday’s rehearsals, from the first half of the second semi-final (automatic qualifiers excluded). And the second act from yesterday was Azerbaijan’s “Just Go”.

What happened on stage?

- JIVA is wearing a sleeveless glittery red and blue dress, with sequins of black, red and blue “shimmering” on her outfit. She also wears black forearm bands/bracelets, with fabric hanging down from them
- The staging uses a lot of floating fabric and drapes, both on stage and on the LED screens.
- The screens also show moments of the relationship described in the lyrics, in black and white
- The drapes on stage are part of a prop made out of four frames, each with a drape inside them
- In the final section of the show, a man joins JIVA on stage, the man she’s singing to.
- She walks away from him and from the stage as the song ends.
