Eurovision is here! Delegations are now in Vienna and every semi-finalist has rehearsed once since Saturday. Today was the second day of second rehearsals, with most of the first semi-finalists rehearsing during shorter slots of 20m. The Eurovision socials accounts have been publishing the traditional second rehearsal videos, which are short extracts of the TV feed from each performance. The Eurovision website has also released new pictures for each rehearsal.
🇦🇺 Australia – Delta Goodrem – Second rehearsal

The world stops to take in Delta Goodrem’s breathtaking vocals during the second rehearsal held today. Delta maintains contact with the camera, and most importantly, the viewers at home throughout. Glowing as much as her 7000 Swarovski crystal dress, whilst she is framed within the eclipse behind her.
🇺🇦 Ukraine – LELÉKA – Second rehearsal

LELÉKA radiates charm and elegance with a wind machine as powerful as her vocal range. The drama builds throughout this clip as the camera pans away from LELÉKA to allow us to see the material draping from the ceiling to the stage. Before we reach the crescendo that sees the LED burst into blue effects from the previous golden tones… very reminiscent of the flag colours.
🇦🇱 Albania – Alis – Second rehearsal

Straight away we are brought into Alis’ storytelling and the powerful message of his song. Alis begins this clip shrouded in darkness as the gospel backing takes the lead with the striking image of the mother waiting for the son to return, dominates the LED. Soon, Alis rises from the smoke as the camera moves its attention over to Alis. The subtitles enable the viewers to follow the narrative.
🇲🇹 Malta – AIDAN – Second rehearsal

For AIDAN’s second rehearsal we join the action inside the tornado of petals. The camera focuses on AIDAN as the chaos swirls around him, building in time to the melody. AIDAN remains confident and assured throughout his timing and cues as the cinematic clips turns rose red for the dramatic conclusion before the clip ends.
🇳🇴 Norway – Jonas Lovv – Second rehearsal

Looking every bit the showman as we join Jonas taking to the platform positioned on stage. Jonas soaks up the energy of the crowd as the band enjoy their moment to shine around him. The staging package has had a polish since Melodi Grand Prix with Jonas continuing to ooze with charisma, making love to the camera and the mic stand.
