The Youtube videos for the second semi-final have been out for a little over 12 hours but already we are seeing some clear leaders. We take a look at the Youtube views as they stand at 13:00 CEST Friday morning.
Malta and Bulgaria in front
Unlike in the first semi-final, not all qualifiers are gathered in a block in these rankings, with Norway under a few non-qualifiers.
Malta is the leader, with more than 500k views, but with barely 600 comments and not many likes or dislikes, much less than the songs coming behind it. Number 2 is Bulgaria, with almost 450k views and a more regular engagement going on. The top 3 is completed by Australia.
The surprise from this semi-final comes from Denmark, who is only placed ninth in these viewcounts, with less than 150k views. If you add its opener’s position in the Grand Final, could we end up with a shockingly low televote result for what was one of the favourites of this season?
