Following six years of partnership, Moroccanoil has chosen to end its sponsorship of the Eurovision Song Contest.
Eurovision and Moroccanoil end partnership
A statement released by Eurovision and the EBU has confirmed that Moroccanoil will no longer sponsor Europe’s favourite music contest. For six years, the Israeli hair and cosmetics brand had been a focal point of Eurovision’s partner sponsors. Providing hair styling backstage for the participating acts of the Eurovision Song Contest and featuring its branding in the Turquoise Carpet and Opening Ceremony events. As reported by the New York Times it was the decision of Moroccanoil to end the sponsorship contract.
“We can confirm that, after six successful years, Moroccanoil has chosen not to renew its sponsorship of the Eurovision Song Contest…. We wish Moroccanoil every success for the future.”
