Sammarinese broadcaster SMRTV has announced the names of the 240 shortlisted artists from the casting rounds who will now advance to the Stage and Live Academy phase of San Marino’s Eurovision 2026 selection Dreaming San Marino Song Contest 2026.

SMRTV has revealed the 240 artists that will compete in the Stage and Live Academy phase of its Eurovision 2026 selection process, Dreaming San Marino Song Contest 2026. These artists were shortlisted from the open casting rounds. From these 240 only 40 will advance to the live Semi-Finals of the national selection.

Format for Dreaming San Marino Song Contest 2026
Over the coming weeks, the 240 acts will be split across eight shows featuring 30 acts each. During the shows, five acts will progress to the two Semi-Finals. On March 2 and March 3 the Semi-Finals will commence featuring 20 acts in each Semi-Final. Only five acts from each will advance to the Grand Final. Before the Final, SMRTV will invite 10 established of the broadcaster’s choosing to compete alongside the 10 acts advancing from the Dreaming San Marino Song Contest phase for a total of 20 acts.
Once again, the expanded national selection will take place at the Teatro Nuovo in Dogana. Viewers can follow the broadcast live on San Marino RTV, channel 550, and on Radio San Marino. On March 6 the Grand Final takes place. A five-person jury will determine the winner who will represent San Marino at the Eurovision Song Contest 2026 in Vienna, Austria this May.
