Australia’s Eurovision and entertainment sensation Delta Goodrem continues her wave of success with the release of her latest single ‘Warrior’ from the highly anticipate eighth studio album Pure.
🇦🇺 ‘Warrior’ out now on streaming platforms
After achieving Australia’s best result in the Eurovision Song Contest since 2016, Delta Goodrem returns with her latest single. ‘Warrior’ is the second song to be released since ‘Eclipse’ and is produced by Michael Fatkin to bring that journey full circle once again. Meanwhile, Delta’s husband Matthew Copley features alongside Geoff Duncan in the composition and lyrics for the new song.
“To me, ‘Warrior’ is about the strength you collect along the way. You can’t change the past, but you can recognise what it taught you and step into the next chapter a little stronger, a little fiercer and hopefully a lot wiser. I think when we’re younger, we imagine strength means never falling apart. With time, we learn that it’s actually about taking the lesson with you and continuing to move forward. ‘Warrior’ is about honouring every version of yourself: the hero, the villain, the fearless one and the frightened one – and realising they all helped make you who you are.”

During Delta’s Summer of success, fans and audiences around the world were treated to an early preview of ‘Warrior’. At the recent Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, Delta performed the track within a melody of her hits in the closing ceremony.
Over the past few months, the Australian artist has already embarked on a Prelude Pure Tour, a series of intimate shows to showcase the album before the official launch on November 6. Next month British viewers will see Delta swap the mic stand for a glitter ball, as she takes to the Strictly dance floor. Early in 2027 the former Neighbours star will be embark on a wider World Tour of her new album.
