It has just been revealed that Ireland will début during the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2015. Irish-language broadcaster TG4 has agreed to participating in the contest.
Rumours about the Irish participation had been going around for years. It is of interest to note that as TG4 is an Irish-language broadcaster, they have announced that their Junior Eurovision entry will be in Irish as well. That’ll be the first time since 1972 for Irish to grace the Eurovision stage.
The submission for children aged 10 to 15 is now open in Ireland, so if you’re in that range of age, can sing in Irish and, obviously, are from Ireland: Apply HERE!
