Armenia’s entry for the upcoming Junior Eurovision Song Contest will be revealed on 6th October, it has been confirmed.
It was announced back in July that 12 year old Michael Varosyan would represent Armenia, but until now little information had been given on the song that he would be singing in Sofia. Today, the silence was broken and we now know that the song to be performed at the contest is titled “Love”.
The song is described as a rock ‘n’ roll track, which is a completely new genre for Armenia at the contest. MIKA (Michael Varosyan) spoke about the song saying, “It is very rhythmic and is filled with positive energy and emotions, my emotions. I think you are going to love it!”
Lilit Navasardyan, the song’s composer said how it was MIKA’s personality that inspired her to make a rock ‘n’ roll song for him to perform at the contest. Whilst it’s writer, Avet Barseghyan described it as ‘full of joy, positive emotions and catchy rhythms”
We look forward to hearing the entry on 6th October!
