Denmark have chosen – Lighthouse X will represent them at the 2016 Eurovision Song Contest with “Soldiers of Love”
After progressing to the super final, Lighthouse X managed to beat off competition from the two hot favourites, Simone and Anja Nissen who had also reached the second round of voting.
The full percentages were as followed:
Anja Nissen – Never Alone – 36%
Simone – Heart Shaped Hole – 22%
Lighthouse X – Solders of Love – 42%
Simone was highly tipped to win tonight’s national final, with bookmakers placing her hot favourite since the songs were released a month ago.
