Michał Szpak will represent Poland in Stockholm

Michał Szpak won the Polish ticket to Stockholm after winning Krajowe Eliminacje (Poland national final). During the one and a half hour show, the public selected Michał Szpak with the song Color of Your Life. Nine acts competed in the national final which TVP decided to organise this year. Szpak convincingly won with nearly 36% of the votes.
The show opened by Monika Kuszyńska saw also Piasek, the 2001 entrant as a special guest in the show. This year’s national final was hosted by Eurovision commentator by Artur Orzech.
The hot favourite not just only to win tonight but also to win Eurovision, Margaret did not impress by her live vocals and ended up in second place with 24% of the vote. 1994 Polish entrant, Edyta Górniak was also a favourite to represent Poland and finished in third place, with about 18%.
Michał Szpak will represent Poland in the second semi-final on 12th May with the hope to qualify to the Eurovision grand final.
