(Yes, we know, it’s a long one…)

We’re streaming live from the press centre

Furthermore, read our handy guide for a more detailed look at this contest’s rehearsal schedule.

In addition, for our immediate reactions to every single rehearsal, you can follow our live stream from the press centre at the Altice Arena by visiting our YouTube channel.

The latest artist to rehearse for the second time is ZiBBZ for Switzerland. We have just watched their latest run through of Stones live on screen and here is our initial reaction.

Staging

The performance now begins with a wide shot of the arena, with Stefan and his drummers being lit up to the beat of the drum. Corinne and Stefan are on a podium, with the camera focusing on Corinne in the lead up to the first chorus. Once we reach it, Corinne steps off the podium, dragging her microphone stand behind her to the end of the bridge. She then steps onto the bridge with a camera shot filming her from underneath.

For the second verse, Corinne steps back onto the main stage and collects her microphone stands which she drags over to stage left and then pushes it over before she moves onto the outer ring for the second chorus. As we reach the middle 8, Corinne is handed a flare and we see Stefan also has one directly behind her on the main stage. During the final chorus, Corinne walks back onto the main stage, onto Stefan’s drums before jumping off them for the final camera shot with Stefan.

Camera shots in this performance: 31

Vocal

Really strong vocals from Corinne and her backing vocalists, no improvements needed here!

Costume

ZiBBZ are wearing the same costumes as on Monday. Stefan is wearing a leather jacket with a white shirt underneath. Corinne is wearing a short top made of strings, with skinny jeans and a maroon hat. Indeed, very reminiscent of Jessica Garlick’s outfit for “Come Back” in 2002!

To qualify or not to qualify?

We have taken a flash poll from around the ESCXTRA table here in the press centre and 7 out of 10 of us say…

YES!

Watch the rehearsal!
