As we previously reported, former Junior Eurovision representative Bella Paige had reached the grand final of The Voice in Australia. Last night, the finale took place with four acts in the running to win the show’s seventh season. After two battle rounds, Bella walked away as this season’s runner-up, narrowly beaten by 28 year old Sam Perry.
Final performances include dazzing duet with mentor Kelly Rowland
For her solo performance, Bella took on George Benson’s ‘The Greatest Love Of All’ and in the final battle round, grazed the stage with her mentor Kelly Rowland for a rendition of Donna Summer’s classic disco hit ‘Last Dance’.
Bella’s historic Junior Eurovision debut
After her success on The Voice Kids in 2014, where she also finished runner-up, SBS selected Bella to represent Australia in their debut Junior Eurovision Song Contest in 2015. My Girls finished in eighth place, the first in a run of what has become three consecutive top ten finishes in the contest for Australia.
New Single ‘Changing’ available now
Shortly after the final, Bella announced the release of her new single Changing. In an Instagram post, the 16 year old thanked fans for the support that she had received during the show.
