It was reported by Deadline.com, that Netflix is in the making of a new original comedy movie starring Will Ferrell called “Eurovision”. The news comes out now after Will made a surprise appearance at the Eurovision Song Contest 2018 back last month.
Eurovision – A Netflix Original Movie
Will Ferrell will not just star in the upcoming Netflix movie, but will also produce it with Jessica Elbaum and also write the script with Andrew Steele. It was also revealed, that Adam McKay will be the Executive Producer of the movie. News about the story and the released date will be revealed at a later stage.
It’s obvious, that the Contest who already took place 63 times give us enough stories to make a movie out of it. Will Ferrell fell in love when he and his Swedish wife went to Sweden in May 1999 and watched the contest on TV there with the whole family. Since then he got addicted to Europe’s favourite TV show.
