Eleni Foureira crowned ‘Best Female Modern Artist’ at MAD TV Awards

The follow-up to 'Fuego' has also been released!

Eleni Foureira has been crowned ‘Best Female Modern Artist’ at the MAD TV Awards which took place in Athens, Greece last night.

Eleni wins 11th MAD TV Award

The Best Female Modern Artist award marks Eleni’s eleventh win at the event.  Since 2011, she has picked up trophies for Video Clip of the Year, Best Dance Video and Fashion Icon.
Those in attendance at the awards included former Greek Eurovision representives Sakis Rouvas, Helena Paparizou and Demy.   The show also included a performance by 2018 Czech representative, Mikolas Josef, who performed his entry Lie To Me, alongside Greek pop singer Tamta.
Eleni brought the fire to proceedings as she closed the ceremony with a special remix version of Fuego.

WATCH: Eleni releases new single ‘Caramela’

The Eurovision runner-up has today released her brand new single ‘Caramela‘.  The song is written by Doron Medalie, who is also responsible for writing TOY – Netta’s winning entry for Israel!
The song will no doubt please fans with its latin influence and summer rhythm.  You can listen to the song in full below and via streaming platforms.

Eleni performs intimate gig in London tomorrow night

Tomorrow night, Eleni will perform at KOKO in London’s Camden where she will be accompanied by a full live band and dancers.  Tickets for the show are still on sale and can be purchased here.
