We’re way into summer and with it comes a host of new releases from Eurovision stars of past and present. Here is our overview of this week’s fresh offering:
Benjamin Ingrosso – I Wouldn’t Know
Benjamin delivered a solid performance in Lisbon with ‘Dance You Off’ and has been teasing an upcoming album. ‘I Wouldn’t Know’ is the first single to be taken from it and features a striking retro meets modern pop sound.
Kristian Kostov – Get It
The Eurovision 2017 runner-up returns with his brand new single. ‘Get It’ is a fusion of pop and 00s R&B, brought together in a polished production, accompanied by Kristian’s strong vocals
ZiBBZ – Undun
Fresh from Lisbon, ZiBBZ have returned today with the music video for single Undun. The song was previously available on streaming platforms but has undergone a major revamp for it’s new version. Watch the video below!
Tatjana Feat. Maria Ivanovska – On My Mind
One half of this year’s Macedonian duo, Eye Cue – Maria Ivanovska releases her new solo single ‘On My Mind’. The funky rhythmic tune is most definitely a perfect addition to any summer playlist!
MOLLY – Under My Skin
MOLLY is best known to many as Olga Seryabkina from girl group Serebro, who represented Russia at the 2007 Eurovision Song Contest with “Song #1”. As MOLLY, she has enjoyed a successful solo career with ‘Under My Skin’ serving as her 12th solo release. Watch the music video for the song below.
Brother Leo – Strangers on an Island
A very interesting this week is Brother Leo with ‘Strangers on an Island’. Who’s that you ask? What if we told you it is none other than Melodifestivalen’s Ola Svensson! Ola took part in the Swedish national selection in both 2008 & 2010. According to the official Brother Leo twitter page, the track has been in the making for four years! It was produced by world famous DJ & Producer Fatboy Slim.
Sertab Erener – Bastırın Kızlar
Sertab Erener served Turkey their first and only Eurovision victory back in 2003. She returned to the Turkish music scene last weekend with new single Bastırın Kızlar, penned by fellow Eurovision representative Can Bonomo.
