Eurovision 2012 winner and three-time Melodifestivalen participant Loreen will perform at the Andra Chansen of this year’s contest. She will perform a medley of her three entries.
Also inducted to the Hall of Fame
Loreen will perform the three entries she has taken part in Melodifestivalen with. She debuted in the contest in 2011 with “My Heart Is Refusing Me” but failed to reach the final. She then returned next year with “Euphoria” and didn’t only win Melodifestivalen, but the whole Eurovision Song Contest. In 2017 she came back with “Statements”, but again failed to reach the final.
Next to performing, Loreen and the team behind “Euphoria” will be inducted to the Melodifestivalen Hall of Fame, which was introduced this year.
Longest Andra Chansen ever
The Hall of Fame gala will take place during the andra chansen, which will be a great nostalgic event where all the chosen people have been invited. About 20 of the 48 elected members will make appearances on stage during the evening.
Also performing are Tomas Ledin and Björn Skifs, Måns Zelmerlöw and Lill Lindfors and After Dark and Anna Book. The show is expected to be longer than usual, at least 1 hour and 45 minutes.
