🇷🇸 Serbia’s Hurricane achieves almost 20,000 votes in Beovizija landslide victory

Tonight, girl group Hurricane was crowned champions of Beovizija 2020 with a landslide victory. “Hasta La Vista” earned maximum points from both the professional jury and the public televote.

Second-largest Beovizija televoting total

Beovizija was launched in 2003 and first served as Serbia’s Eurovision Song Contest national selection process as an independent country in 2007. Since 2007, the televoting numbers of Beovizija have been released and you can see the amount of votes achieved by each televoting winner of Beovizija below:

Hurricane heading for Rotterdam

Hurricane consists of Ivana Nikolić, Ksenija Knežević and Sanja Vučić. Two members of the three-piece have previous Eurovision experience. Ksenija has previously appeared on the Eurovision stage as a backing vocalist for his dad, Knez. Knez represented Montenegro in Vienna and placed 13th in the final.

Perhaps more notably, Sanja Vučić represented Serbia in Eurovision Song Contest 2016 with the song “Goodbye (Shelter)” The song finished 18th in the final. Now, Hurricane will be headed to Rotterdam for the 2020 Eurovision Song Contest!
