Over the last past week, you have been submitting your predictions for the Round 10 of Eurovision Prediction 2020. For this round, your task was to predict the winner Denmark’s Dansk Melodi Grand Prix, Finland’s UMK, Portugal’s Festival da Canção and Sweden’s Melodifestivalen. Airing this evening (Saturday 7 March), let’s visit the results of Festival da Canção 2020!
198 of you have voted in the 10th and penultimate round of Eurovision Prediction 2020 (plus an extra person who just predicted Melfest, fair enough). So without further ado, here are the contestants that YOU have predicted to win in Portugal tonight:
Rank | Artist | Song | Number of predictions | Percentage |
1 | Bárbara Tinoco | “Passe-Partout” | 136 | 68.70% |
2 | Elisa | “Medo de sentir” | 45 | 22.70% |
3 | Jimmy P | “Abensonhado” | 6 | 3% |
4 | Throes + The Shine | “Movimento” | 5 | 2.50% |
5 | Filipe Sambado | “Gerbera amarela do Sul” | 2 | 1% |
6 | Kady | “Diz só” | 2 | 1% |
7 | Tomás Luzia | “Mais real que o amor” | 1 | 0.50% |
8 | Elisa Rodrigues | “Não voltes mais” | 1 | 0.50% |
Though not quite as strong a lead as Dotter in Sweden and Erika Vikman in Finland, almost 70% of the vote is an impressive margin. Like them, Bárbara has been leading the views for both the studio version and the live performance, much like Conan Osíris last year. However, it’s important to note that following his performance last week, Jimmy P has gained a lot of momentum. He’s certainly one to watch tonight for that reason.
Costa and Nathan noted this in our Eurovision Prediction video, in which they argued over pretty much everything:
We will post the FINAL leaderboard on Monday after round 11 is finished (San Marino predictions open now!) and not after tonight’s shows as originally stated before the San Marino national final had appeared! In the meantime, you can see the current leaderboard below:

This year, Bárbara was a clear choice for our predictors. However, last year, almost 74% of you predicted that “Telemovéis” would win Festival da Canção 2019. Conan Osíris ended up sweeping both the jury vote and televote in the final last year. Can Bárbara achieve the same? We’ll find out tonight…
Our Eurovision Prediction 2019 players collectively predicted 16 out of 29 national final winners correctly. In 2018, your record was 19 out of 30. Last week, you only predicted one out of three of last weekend’s selections correctly. That means that so far this year, you have correctly predicted 8 out of 21 winners correctly, with only five still to go…yikes.
