The North Macedonian Head of Delegation for Junior Eurovision has revealed to ESCXTRA that no decision has yet been made regarding the country’s participation in Warsaw.
So far, only nine countries have confirmed they will be taking part in the contest, including the Netherlands and France, however this is subject to change with many countries confirming their participation prior to the Covid-19 outbreak.
“We are waiting for EBU instructions”
Last weekend, Warsaw was announced as the host city for the 2020 Junior Eurovision Song Contest. With no news yet announced by North Macedonia, ESCXTRA.com reached out to the country’s Head of Delegation to ask about the country’s plans for the contest.
We have not yet made a decision on our participation on JESC 2020, we are waiting for EBU instructions.

We would like to thank Rade Spasovski for his speedy response.
Last year, the full list of competing countries in the contest was announced on 18th July. If this list is revealed on a similar date this year, we have just under two months to wait to find out which countries will take part.
