Dutch singer Ilse DeLange has just announced that her German club tour will be expanded. Instead of four cities, she will now visit seven different clubs. DeLange also mentioned that she will add more dates soon. The success doesn’t come as a surprise, after Ilse DeLange’s apparent breakthrough in the German music scene.
Ever since taking part in the Eurovision Song Contest 2014 as lead singer of The Common Linnets, Ilse DeLange has been enjoying success in Germany. However, only recently her solo success followed. Her new album, Changes, is on the verge of breaking into the top ten album charts.
Aside from chart success, the 43-year old has also featured a lot on German television. Currently, she is taking part in Sing meinen Song – Das Tauschkonzert, alongside established German acts like Max Giesinger and Nico Santos. She impressed many by covering Max Giesinger’s Für dich on week one – her first ever TV appearance singing in German.
Her second outing wasn’t much later. During Eurovision: Europe Shine A Light, Ilse DeLange and Michael Schulte performed Ein Bisschen Frieden, the iconic 1982 Eurovision winner, together in the Vredespaleis in The Hague. In the same weekend, she finished runner-up in the Free European Song Contest, organised by Stefan Raab. Representing The Netherlands once more, her song Changes won the jury vote.

Ich freu mich auf euch, see you there! ❤️
Seven cities for Ilse DeLange
Originally, the German leg of her club tour would consist of four cities only. Events were announced for Berlin, Hamburg, Cologne and Stuttgart. However, the ticket demand was so high that Bremen, Leipzig and Hannover have been added to the list. Furthermore, DeLange and her team decided to move the Berlin and Hamburg events to bigger venues.
And aside from new venues and new cities, the Dutch singer also announced that they are looking at extra dates for both Stuttgart and Cologne, as the ticket demand there was also higher than expected. You can see the full list of tour dates on Ilse’s official website.
