🇸🇪 Robin Bengtsson releases his version of Gavin DeGraw’s ‘I Don’t Wanna Be’

Are there any One Tree Hill fans within the Eurovision Fan community? If your answer is ‘YES’ then Good News. Sweden’s Eurovision 2017 representative and three-time Melodifestivalen participant have released his cover of Gavin De Graw’s ‘I Don’t Wanna Be‘ which is the theme song of the series.

On the release of his acoustic cover Robin Bengtsson has mentioned that the song has been with him since he has discovered Gavin’s work in 2005, and that he had fun making his own interpretation.

Robin Bengtsson at the Eurovision Song Contest

Robin became known to Eurovision back in 2016 when he first participated in Melodifestivalen with his track ‘Constellation Prize‘, after giving a great performance he managed to achieve fifth place.

A year later, he returned to Melodifestivalen and won. Robin collaborated with 2013 Swedish participant Robin Stjernberg with the song ‘I Can’t Go On’, which placed fifth in Kyiv.

In 2020, three years after his Melodifestivalen win, he returned to the contest with his song ‘Take A Chance’ where he placed eighth.
