Back in April, Daði Freyr announced a series of live shows scheduled for the end of the year. Once these dates sold out, he added new dates for 2021. Now, in light of the success of “Think About Things”, he has announced a UK tour!
Initially, Daði Freyr announced his tour in April, including dates in London, Berlin, Copenhagen, Oslo and Dublin. On the first week, the London and Dublin shows quickly sold out and subsequently additional shows were added for both cities.
Now, as “Think About Things” holds firm in the UK Top 40, he has announced a full UK tour.
Tickets for his UK dates, and other European shows, are available now!
Capitalising on his UK chart and radio success
Last week, “Think About Things” became the Eurovision song to spend the longest time in the UK chart since 2012. The last entry to spend a full month in the chart was Loreen’s “Euphoria”, which peaked at number 3.
Daði entered at #34 four weeks ago, and currently sits at #36. So far it has sold over 60k units, achieving a peak of #8 on sales alone, not counting streaming services.
Adding further to the continued longevity of the Icelandic hit, this week it has emerged that “Think About Things” is the Radio 1 tune of the week, scoring Daði Freyr extra promotion from one of the UK’s biggest radio channels. Will this allow it to break into the top 30?
