🇮🇪 Lesley Roy to release new single ‘Gold’ on July 3

Ireland’s Eurovision 2020 representative Lesley Roy has announced her new single ‘Gold’. Lesley’s new single will be the follow-up to her 2020 Eurovision entry ‘Story of My Life’ which was due to represent Ireland at this year’s contest.

As we are getting closer to the release of Lesley’s new single, Lesley revealed the song’s cover art. The artwork for ‘Gold’ is created by TJ Volonis, an artist based in Brooklyn.

When Lesley announced her new single, Lesley posted a snippet of ‘Gold’ on her Instagram page. Where we are able to hear snippets of her latest single:

Lesley’s Eurovision Journey

In 2020, Ireland selected Lesley Roy to represent them in the 2020 contest, with the song ‘Story of My Life’. Lesley co-wrote the song with Catt Gravitt, Robert Marvin & Tom Shapiro.

Since the cancellation of the 2020 Eurovision Song Contest. It is yet to be confirmed if Lesley will be representing Ireland at the 2021 Contest in Rotterdam.
