As the Junior Eurovision approaches, Kazakhstan does its best to pick the most impressive entry to compete this year. Now we know the semi-finalists already!
Earlier the Kazakhstan national broadcaster Khabar announced the start of potential entries submission. Overall, they recieved 684 acts from all over the country.
The jury worked hard to review all of the submissions and shortlist only 30 of them. The next step for the announced acts is the online semi-final.

According to Khabar, the national final format is up to the current pandemic situation. However, the winner will be selected by public voting (calls or SMS) in any case.
Kazakhstan at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest
Kazakhstan made its very first appearance on the Junior Eurovision stage in 2018. That year Daneliya Tuleshova represented her country with the song Өзіңе сен (Òzińe Sen) and placed 6th. Now she is aiming high and you can see her as a semi-finalist of the America Got Talent.
Last year it was Yerzhan Maxim who represented Kazakhstan with the song Armanyńnan Qalma and finished 2nd, bringing the best result for his country at the moment.
