🇮🇪 Lesley Roy teases Eurovision preparation

Are Ireland embarking on their quest for win number 8?

The Irish representative for Ireland in the Eurovision Song Contest 2020, Lesley Roy has teased some names she has been working with for a potential Eurovision 2021 song.

Lesley was chosen by RTÉ to represent the seven time champions in Rotterdam in 2020. But this was halted prematurely. This is due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Currently neither the Irish broadcaster nor Lesley has confirmed that she will represent them again in 2021. She was supposed to have performed “Story Of My Life”.

Setting up camp

Teasing on her twitter page, Lesley has revealed some well known faces who she is in contact with over Zoom to write and produce her potential entry. Additionally this was taking place in the Swedish capital, Stockholm. These include.

  • Erik Dahlqvist – Songwriter for Dotter’s “Bulletproof”.
  • JOWST – Norwegian representative in Kyiv 2017 with the song “Grab The Moment” (10th Place).
  • Lasse Piirainen – Finnish representative in Kyiv 2017 and one half of Norma John with the song “Blackbird” (12th Place in semifinal).
